Zoltan Kerekes

Zoltan has over 25 years of experience in law, business, and the life sciences.  Zoltan manages relationships with pharmaceutical companies and sources capital and leads transactions in the establishment of portfolio companies.  He also acts as an advisor, Chairman and/or board member for portfolio companies.

Prior to co-founding PIPV Capital, Zoltan managed the “Pure IP” portfolio for GSK Ventures and led or participated in various compound and intellectual property transactions.  Previously, Zoltan was a Senior Patent Counsel with GSK, responsible for protecting and enforcing GSK’s intellectual property.   Prior to joining GSK, Zoltan was an attorney practicing in the New York City office of White & Case, a leading international law firm, where he focused on intellectual property litigation and intellectual property-related transactional work.

Zoltan has a BS in Biology from Fordham University and a JD from Boston University School of Law.  He is a member of the New York State and Commonwealth of Massachusetts Bars.  Zoltan is admitted to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.  Zoltan is a Founder and Board Member of Ilera.
